Football tips today for Elfsborg – Molde

We are heading to Boras where Elfsborg will face Molde in a second leg game from the UEFA Conference League qualifications. Stay with us and these football tips today. Here we go!

We can say that Molde are already touching the next round of qualification. The Norwegians made a stunning performance in the first leg when they achieved a huge 4-1 win at home. The Swedish side actually scored first, but in the second half Erling Moe’s boys destroyed their opponents. Kaasa, Haugen, Breivik and Mannsverk from a penalty kick put the home side in a great position for the second leg.

Now Elfsborg are in a very complicated situation – they must score at least three goals and keep a clean sheet if they want to go to extra time. Molde on the other hand just have to play a calm game and repeat the performance of the first leg – this way they can’t be touched.

The Swedish team can’t use Ghana’s Emmanuel Boateng for the rematch. The midfielder got sent off in the first leg so he’s suspended on Thursday. That’s another problem for the head coach Jimmy Thelin who’s put in a difficult situation. His team is behind and he can’t use one of his main players.

We don’t expect to see Molde’s manager Erling Moe doing many changes for the second leg. Eventually we can see Magnus Eikrem or Ola Brynhildsen in the starting eleven, but when something is working you don’t fix it, right? Let’s see if Moe thinks like us here.

That’s the football tips today for the Conference League clash between Elfsborg and Molde. The Norwegians are touching the third round after a terrific 4-1 win in the first leg. Let’s see if they can finish the job here. As for Elfsborg – it’s a tough situation for them.
