Football predictions for Hungary – Germany

Hungary faces Germany in the capital Budapest in another game from the Nations League. In our big odds football prediction site we will try to provide you with some solid preview for this match.

Hungary started their campaign with a terrific win against England, but in their second game they suffered a first defeat against Italy. The head coach Marco Rossi faced his home country in Cesena and it wasn’t a bad game, but at the end Italy celebrated a 2-1 win. At half-time Hungary were two goals behind and they scored in the second half, but Italy defended well and kept their advantage.

We don’t expect to see Marco Rossi making a lot of changes for this challenge against Germany. He’s usually using a 3-4-3 formation which switches to 5-4-1 when the team defends. It’s well-balanced so now the players will try to do their best against one of the most formidable opponents in the world.

Germany needs the win here to eventually top the group. The Mannschaft is currently third in the group with 2 points which puts them 2 points behind the leader Italy. At the same time the Azzurri will have a tough trip to England.

Two draws from two games played – that’s how Germany are doing so far. On Tuesday Hansi Flick’s team faced England in a true European classic, but the match ended without a winner – 1-1. Jonas Hofmann opened the score in the beginning of the second half, but at the end of the game Germany conceded a penalty. Harry Kane faced Manuel Neuer from the spot and beat him for an equalising goal.

Hansi Flick could be making changes in his line-up for the next game. Leon Goretzka and Serge Gnabry are among the players who could refresh the starting eleven on Saturday.

That’s what our big odds football prediction site can tell you about the Nations League clash between Hungary and Germany on Saturday. Good luck!
